Acne Treatment That Works!

Acne is a skin disease caused by the clogging of pores and an inflammation of the sebaceous glands and hair follicles which are on the face, neck, shoulders, back and chest. These glands then produce too much oil, or sebum, become plugged and end up becoming whiteheads, pimples or blackheads. This sebum mixes with dead cells on the surface of the skin clogging the pores and causing blackheads and whiteheads. Bacteria around the hair follicles enter the skin if the whitehead ruptures causing a pimple. Be careful not to squeeze the pimples as it can cause pitting and scars on the skin.

Acne is not only a teenage problem, it is not uncommon for adults. Surprisingly, more adults have acne than teenagers, can you believe that. Acne affects more than 50% of adults between 25 and 49, compared to 25% of teenagers.

One form of acne is caused by a condition known as "skin hypoglycemia" or "skin diabetes." This means that the skin, which is an organ, is intolerant to sugars.

Causes

There are several common causes of Acne among others: poor hygiene, diet, stress, heredity and hormone imbalances often are causes of acne.

Dietary

1. Food allergies, especially in adults over 25, are surprisingly the cause of some of the worst cases.

2. In general, bad digestion, often caused by too little hydrochloric acid in the stomach, will lead to the inability to absorb important nutrients and is a major cause of acne.

3. As with any wellness program, it is suggested that you drink six to eight glasses of water daily. This will aid your body systems in functioning properly, especially your skin (your largest organ) for acne sufferers.

4. Although many traditional medical practitioners may not agree, the excess of milk, sugar, white flour and other refined, processed food, as well as nuts and high-fat meats, such as pork, may be contributing factors to acne.

5. Iodine-rich foods, such as liver, cheese, iodized salt, kelp products, clams, crabs and other shellfish have been associated with acne, and should be avoided.

Special treatment of Ane.

1.
You can use Proactiv Solution that is very popular for treatment of Acne

2. You can choose laser treatment

This is a method to get rid of and treat Acne and was developed to aid in permanently reducing acne and resurfacing / fading acne scars for serious conditions by reducing bacteria and healing affected skin.

Laser acne treatments involve the use of a laser to penetrate and remove acne affected skin so that new skin can form in its place. The procedure can last a few minutes for small areas and up to an hour for larger areas.

Sometimes, repeat laser acne treatments may be needed before you get the results that you want. However you should start seeing some kind of results after your first session. Results will vary from person to person because acne affects different people in different ways, but there should be a noticeable change after one treatment.

It is entirely up to you which ever treatment is more comfortable to you. Our face is our most important asset, and therefore we should treat it well at whatever cost.
